Blake began his legal career representing Fortune 500 insurance companies in complex litigation matters and coverage disputes. The experience gave him an intimate understanding of California’s court systems and the expertise to achieve effective results for his clients. He later used this expertise to represent large corporate clients as inside-outside counsel, with his practice focusing on legal compliance and keeping his clients out of court. Now at The Small Business Law Firm, P.C., Blake uses this set of skills to help his clients avoid the many legal pitfalls awaiting their businesses in California, and to give them the comfort that, should a dispute arise, they have a skilled attorney to resolve conflict fairly, efficiently, and aggressively, if need be. Blake’s practice focuses on labor and HR law, employment litigation, transactional work and contract drafting, negotiation and dispute resolution.
When Blake isn’t practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, cooking, basketball (go Lakers), and, when he has time, the occasional round of golf.
